OUR PASTOR

 

Rev. Harland Brown was elected pastor of St.Paul Baptist Church in March 1999. Rev. Brown is married to Sis. Deborah Brown and together they have seven children and several grandchildren.  Rev. Brown is a former native of Monroe, Lousiana and currently resides in Blacksburg, VA.  He is Operations Manager of Blacksburg ransit.  Rev. Brown is a agraduate of Richmond VA Seminary with a Masters in Theology.  He is a God filled man who knows the gospel, preaches the gospel and sins the gospel.  He is well known throughout the surrounding counties.  He has led our congregation through many achievements; the greatest being construction of the new church after only being the leader for three years.  During his time he's licensed several ministers, ordained new deacons and started many new ministries.  He is a  man with great vision for his people and his church.  Currently he is serving as 1st Moderator of the Peaks of Otter Baptist Association.
